Privacy notice
What happens to what you send me.
Short version: the contact form sends your message to me and nothing else happens to it. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from a third party.

What is collected
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, website, what you need, when you want to start, an optional budget range, and your message. Nothing is collected from you anywhere else on this site.
Why, and on what basis
To answer your enquiry and, if it goes further, to scope and carry out the work. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted me about a business matter, and performance of a contract once there is one.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to engagements are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and then deleted.
Who else sees it
Cloudflare, which hosts this site and stores contact form messages in a private database that only I can read, and my email provider once we are writing to each other. Nobody else. Your details are never sold, shared with partners, or used for marketing lists.
What this site does not do
It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It runs no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixels and no session recording. It loads no fonts, scripts or images from another domain, so no third party learns that you visited. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and I will do it. Email hello@ivanseo.com. If you are in the EU or UK and think I have handled your data badly, you can also complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions; ask if you need one.
